Today I'd love to propose two longer Good Reads on this topic, which I've found particularly interesting, also thanks to the interview format available:
1) How Leading From The ‘Inside Out’ Transforms Lives, Work Cultures And Businesses, which is part of Kathy Caprino’s series “Today’s True Leadership” in FORBES
"Leaders today are facing numerous unprecedented challenges that are requiring them to adapt in ways that many, if not most, are not yet prepared or trained to do. Just a few of these challenges include the dramatic rise in remote work, the proliferation of artificial intelligence and new uses of A.I. that will transform the nature of work, mental health challenges of their employees, the need to create more diverse, equitable and inclusive work cultures, and more.
Overseeing these required shifts in work and workforces demands that leaders themselves become more personally adept at the process of change, which requires a number of key qualities including self-awareness, self-evaluation, innovation, openness to critique and learning, flexibility, and understanding how to inspire and motivate others through tumultuous times."

2) Leadership: An Art or Science?
Good leaders are few but leveraging skills from multiple fields might be the key in unlocking leadership potential among working professionals.
By Neha Jhunjhunwala, Head – Strategic Marketing & Special Projects, TIMES Professional Learning
"Defined as the ability to influence people to achieve specific outcomes, leadership remains one of the most complex and fascinating subjects of the 21st century. Despite the phenomenal progress globally in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence, it is essential to increase the ‘leaders’ quotient across senior-level positions in organisations, institutions and local bodies. It is also imperative to seek answers to why some individuals can lead effortlessly while others struggle to succeed, leading to conclude whether is leadership an art or a science?
For many, leadership is purely an art as it involves dealing with people as there is a human element to it. Yet others believe it is a science because of the progress made in leadership-related studies in the field of psychology. We still don’t have definite answers to these questions, because no one good leader is the same, whether it was Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, or Martin Luther King Jr – their actions depended on their unique socio-cultural contexts. But over the years, researchers, psychologists, neuroscientists, and real-world leaders have demonstrated that there are certain common personality traits that tend to show up across the board and may hold answers to whether leadership is more of an art or a science."
