Why I understand you
My story
I still remember my first conversation in English.
Lips moving fast, indecipherable sounds fluttering, cold sweat running down my back.
I was just a kid when my family moved to Canada:
I only spoke Italian at the time, so English sounds, rules and conversations terrified me.
Just like for you, this meant for years I tended to avoid non essential interactions to limit the awkward feeling of being brilliant but not able to communicate.
With time I realized I had been thrown in the arena without tools, and I was

shrinking in conversations

aware of what to say — but not how to deliver it.
Those linguistic barriers were limiting my social Life, my future Prospects, and making me feel inadequate, misunderstood and unsafe, because I couldn't understand English, nor truly express my needs and the complexity of my opinions.
I was smart and cultured, but like many non-native English speakers I felt caged by incommunicability,
and it just had to stop.
I needed a functional, strategic method
to stop fearing and start communicating.
So I created my own.

I first started teaching in 2003, helping Thousands of Clients unlock their English for Professional purposes and overcome their feelings of fear and inadequacy since then.
I also worked as a Vice Director of Studies for several years, dealing with Course Design and Course Management, as well as with Teacher Training and Support, in an established local language school in Turin.
Building up on that invaluable experience, and wanting to Develop my own method, Thought Leadership, and to Pursue My own Path,
I have become a Professional English Trainer for Professionals in the Military and Business fileds of operation.
I am an English Coach for Adult Learners wishing to Master English, offering Specialized Training, Strategies and Quality to Institutions and Privates as well,
in order for you to gain professional Support and Succeed in your Business Role and in your Military Position, while fully enjoying your connections and experiences in International Contexts.
Also English teachers often request my Coaching to help them improve their own English Course Planning, Implementation and Class Management while refining the language they need to teach their students in school.
As a Translator of scientific, literary, legal, technical and promotional material from/into English, Italian and French, specializing in Psychology and Medicine, it is a Pleasure for me to also Support my Clients with their Professional written Communication.
Being an Interpreter and Translator helps me better understand the process of learning a foreign language as an Adult and develop my Coaching Techniques to better suit differentiated Learning Styles.
