About Me
I am an experienced professional English Teacher, Interpreter and Translator, currently living in Piedmont, Italy and raised in Ontario, Canada.
As an Early Stage Coordinate Bilingual,
I personally experienced the same hardship of Communication Barriers you are experiencing.
I was just a kid when my family moved to Canada:
I only spoke Italian at the time, so English sounds, rules and conversations Terrified me.
Just like for you, this meant I tended to avoid non essential interactions to limit the awkward feeling of not being able to communicate like others did!
I didn't get all the nuances, like funny jokes or understatement, and they didn't comprehend the depth of my thoughts.
I was a smart kid, but I felt Caged by Incommunicability, and it just had to Stop.
So one restless summer day, I decided I would Decode English and Make my Way through the Muck, Tame the English language, Unlock its Secrets, Break those Barriers and Rise Above the Water:
I was just a teenager, but the seed of Lotus in me had clearly realized those Linguistic Barriers were limiting my Social Life, my Future Prospects,
and most of all they were making me feel Inadequate and Unsafe, because I couldn't understand English, nor truly express my Needs and Opinions.
This is the Reason I Coach:

I first started teaching in 2003, helping Thousands of students since then, and I also worked as a Vice Director of Studies for several years, dealing with Course Design and Course Management, as well as with Teacher Training and Support, in an established local language school in Turin.
Building up on that invaluable experience, and wanting to Develop my own method, Thought Leadership, and to Pursue My own Path,
I have become a Professional English Trainer for Professionals in the Military and Business fileds of operation.
I am an English Coach for Adult Learners wishing to Master English, offering Professional Training, Strategies and Quality to Privates as well,
in order for them to gain professional Support and Succeed in their Business Role, in their Military Position, while fully Enjoying their Personal Experiences in International Contexts.
Also English Teachers often request my Coaching to help them improve their own English Course Planning, Implementation and Class Management while refining the language they need to teach their students in school.
As a Translator of scientific, literary, legal, technical and promotional material from/into English, Italian and French, specializing in Psychology and Medicine, it is a Pleasure for me to also Support my Clients with their Professional written Communication.
Being an Interpreter and Translator helps me better understand the process of learning a foreign language as an Adult and develop my Teaching and Coaching Techniques to better suit differentiated Learning Styles.

A bilingual person is someone who speaks two languages. A person who speaks more than two languages is called 'multilingual' , although the term 'bilingualism' can be used for both situations. Multilingualism isn't unusual; in fact, it's the norm for most of the world's societies.
